The whole interior has been renovated with luxurious and futuristic looks. The cargo space has been increased to total 500 liters. The power steering has been given a new and a whole set of buttons for the easiness in the command of the driver. There is also 8 inches’ touchscreen panel in the center of the dashboard to control all the latest technologies. Some of the features are adaptive cruise control, automatic climate control, satellite radio, roof rails etc. There are cameras installed on the rear side of the car which helps in the parking. The audio system is excellent in the base model only and as per the rumors, the top model will be provided with 300-watt Dynaudio system. For the safety features, the airbags, ABS have been upgraded.
The Volkswagen has been successful in keeping its new model 2018 VW Tiguan a big secret till now. While a test run for checking the engines they are using the previous model only. As per the rumors, there will be three models. First one will have five seats. The second one would be having three rows of seats. And the third one is the sports model consisting of all the top-class features. The whole structure has been redesigned on MQB platform and they are providing this beauty with 18 inches wide all terrain alloy wheels. Both the chrome grille and the headlights are modified as per the new look.
Performance of Engine
The Volkswagen hasn't officially declared regarding the engines but this new 2018 VW Tiguan is expected to be having a 2.0 liter with six-speed automatic transmission system yields 200 hp. Though the EPA rating is expected to be around 25 mpg.
